Hello backers!!!

The campaign has officially ended, and what a ride it was.  We have our total, and have to say it again...

That figure far surpasses any and all of our expectations, and we're immensely grateful to each and every one of you.  It also means that there will be FIVE Gaia Edition Master Vaults included in the Roll The Dice lineup, as promised!

We'll have a more detailed update soon, but for now, we just wanted to thank you all for an amazing run, and give you a few bits of key information.

First, what happens now: Kickstarter begins the process of charging pledges and collecting the funds, and transferring them to us.  This process takes about two weeks in all.  It's very important that you be on the lookout for emails from Kickstarter in this time period - if for any reason they can't process your pledge, they'll notify you every 48 hours until you take action.  If you don't, they'll retry it one last time, 7 days from now, and if it still doesn't work, you're dropped as a backer from the project.  Now if that occurs, you have one last chance to correct it through BackerKit, but it's a whole lot easier to ensure everything goes smoothly by just being on the lookout for an email confirmation that your pledge was collected successfully!  Thank you in advance for your cooperation!  :)

Secondly, we're opening up pre-orders (late pledges) on BackerKit, via the link right on the campaign page.  So, if you know anyone that wasn't able to get in on the Kickstarter in time, you can let them know they still have a chance!  They can pledge through BackerKit, and they'll come in at the end of the line (their orders will be crafted and shipped along with the final wave in the campaign).

After the two weeks have passed, we'll send out the BackerKit surveys, and you'll be notified in advance through another update here, as well.  You'll have a month to finalize those orders, and then we'll lock them down and proceed immediately to sourcing and production, armed with the hard data from your surveys!

There's plenty of work ahead.  But for now, we're going to get just a little bit of rest.

The campaign may be over... but the journey is just beginning.

Less Than 48 Hours Remaining! $450,000 Reached! Post-Campaign Details & DATES!

Well, this is it, everybody - we're in the final days... the home stretch of the campaign!

As the 48 hour reminders start to reach those who were interested in the campaign but not ready to pledge earlier, they'll have a lot to catch up on - thanks to you!

Achievements Unlocked

Here's a brief rundown of what you accomplished during the past 28 days:

• Funded the campaign in under 30 minutes
• Raised more than $100,000 in the first day of the campaign
• Unlocked over 30 more wood options for the Adventurer's Arsenal
• Broke our record for most funded campaign
• Broke our record for most backers on a campaign
• Were generally ridiculously awesome at all times

Your support has been amazing, from the pledging and sharing to the super-helpful comments and messages.  Several of you went above and beyond, really making the project your own, and we can't thank you enough!

Roll The Dice: Gaia Addition

 

As promised in the last update, starting at $400,000, every $25,000 raised adds a Gaia Edition Master Vault to the Roll The Dice pool.  That means that there will now be three random Gaia Edition Master Vaults added to Roll The Dice!

Post-Campaign Details (Updated)

Whether you're just joining the campaign, or have been here from the beginning, we wanted to close the update with the details of what will happen post-campaign so you know what to expect.  This is the same information we included in the last update, however we've determined some dates, so you'll want to review the timeline below.

• March 8th: Kickstarter campaign closes, BackerKit pre-orders open.
• March 8th-22nd: Kickstarter processes all pledges
• March 23: BackerKit survey issued
• April 23: BackerKit survey lockdown
• April 27: BackerKit charges processed (if applicable)
• August, 2018: Fulfillment begins
• February/March, 2019: Fulfillment concludes!

At the close of funding, the Kickstarter will close and lock down; at that point, all pledges are final and no further pledges can be made. We will enable pre-orders (AKA "late pledges") to allow anyone that missed the campaign proper to "late pledge" - these will be processed through BackerKit. All pre-orders will be fulfilled after all backer rewards.

Kickstarter will begin processing all of the charges and collecting pledge funds. In the meantime, we'll be putting the finishing touches on the BackerKit survey and preparing to send it to all of you. The process is usually completed about two weeks after the campaign ends. If your payment is unable to be processed for any reason (address change, expired card, etc.) Kickstarter will reach out to notify you via the email address they have on file. If that happens, you'll have an opportunity to correct any issues for 7 days, after which you'll be dropped from the campaign - so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for any problems! After that, it's time for...

We'll issue the survey invitations to BackerKit, and announce that they've been sent via an update on Kickstarter. When you follow the link, you'll be able to confirm the details of your pledge, and select the items you pledged for through a friendly interface on BackerKit. If you haven't used it, it's similar to many ecommerce sites, except instead of shopping you'll be spending credit, which will be equal to your pledge here on Kickstarter. BackerKit will also verify that your total, including shipping, is correct. If it's not, it will allow you to add funds as needed (if you decide you want to add something extra last minute, you can do that, too!).

We'll lock down BackerKit and begin production. This will happen about one month after the survey goes out.  Once lockdown happens, your orders will be final, allowing changes only to your shipping address. Also, if you added any items to your order in BackerKit, your payment method will be charged - we have this tentatively set for five days after lockdown.

Once you confirm your order in BackerKit, you're done. Kick back and relax - from this point on, it's all on us!

$400,000! Roll The Dice Bonus & Post-Campaign Details!

Hello backers!

The campaign has surpassed another big funding milestone by reaching $400,000 in total pledges!  That's staggering, and makes this our biggest campaign ever - we already blew past our record for backers, and now have over 2,000.

We're thrilled that so many of you are so enthusiastic about our work, and literally each and every one of you is responsible for making this campaign the success it's been, so again (hopefully you aren't sick of hearing it yet): THANK YOU!

Speaking of firsts, as you know, we've introduced our Roll The Dice promotion to this Kickstarter - the first time we've offered that option in a campaign.  It's proven quite popular, and as we smash through these milestones, well past our planned (and unplanned) stretch goals, we thought of one last way to spice things up in the closing days of the campaign.

As we announced just yesterday, the Gaia Edition, featuring an inlay of your choice of flower on a beautiful Myrtle Burl Master Vault, is now available.  Some have asked if it was an option in Roll The Dice.  Well, no, it...  wasn't.

As a thank you for helping us reach these unprecedented milestones, we're going to add exactly 1 Gaia Edition Master Vault to the RTD mix.  What's more, we'll add another for each $25,000 raised above $400,000, from now until the close of the campaign next week.

A couple notes:

1) The Roll The Dice Gaia Edition will have a flower determined by Wyrmwood; customization options remain unique to the Gaia Edition reward pledge level.

2) These exist outside the rarity determinations - there will be a set number determined by the funding level added to the mix, regardless of how many RTD Master Vaults are ordered, whether that's 300, 500 or 1,000.

Of course, if you definitely want to claim a Gaia Edition Master Vault, or want to customize your own, you can still pledge for one - we have several spots still available in the October reward tier, and anticipate no issues adding a November, if there's demand for that, too.  We can't wait to see the whole bouquet come to vibrant life. :)

After Kickstarter: The Next Steps
