Hello, backers!

Just sending out a brief update to keep you all in the loop. :)

Fulfillment Update

First, some good news: the October wave is mostly fulfilled!  Approximately 75% have been shipped, with the remainder to be sent as quickly as we can manage. Since the month is coming to a close, there is a possibility that fulfillment will extend into early November, but we'll obviously do our best to wrap it up as soon as we can.

However, we are positioned to begin to fulfill November pledges early in the month, and we'll begin that fulfillment as soon as October is concluded - there may actually be some overlap while we finish up October pledges.

Dice, Dice Baby

(Look, we know that was bad. We'd like to say we're sorry, but... we're not. But we're definitely sorry that we're not sorry. So at least there's that?  Let's... just move on.)

At long last, our new dice have arrived! From here on out, pledges containing logo dice will ship with them. We will circle back to those pledges that have already shipped, and send out your missing dice, as well, of course, but it will take some time to get through them all. So, with apologies for the delay, if we can request a bit more patience, bear with us; we'll get them to you soon!

The Lovecraft Collection: Last Chance!

While you're waiting for your Adventurer's Arsenal to arrive, you can also check out our latest project, a limited edition series of Dice Vaults, intended as a tribute to the works of horror legend H.P. Lovecraft, most famous for creating the Cthulhu Mythos.  The campaign ends on Halloween night at midnight, so time is running out!

Hey everyone!

We just wanted to take a moment to share our new campaign.  It's a short campaign with extremely rapid turnaround - only two weeks after the conclusion of the campaign, for the first 400 backers!  It's designed to honor the season - and one of our favorite authors, H.P. Lovecraft.

In 2013, Wyrmwood created the original Dice Vault, a luxurious wooden case for a set of polyhedral role playing dice. Handcrafted, featuring foam lining and a magnetic enclosure, it remains the finest way to store and carry your favorite set of dice.

In honor of this most hallowed season, and in tribute to the beloved work of horror legend H.P. Lovecraft, Wyrmwood presents a limited edition collection of Dice Vaults, with engravings and inlay in a script inspired by the mad cults and dread writings replete throughout the New England author's works.

Shipping Progress & Fulfillment News, Gaia Edition Photos and a Halloween Surprise...

Hello everyone!

We know you're eagerly awaiting news, so we'll get right to it.

The State of the Ship-Out

So, as we begin October, how is fulfillment going?  Overall, healthy - September is nearing completion, and will be totally fulfilled soon - what has not been shipped already is virtually all actively being crafted as we speak.  October fulfillment looks to be on track to wrap up, as planned, by the end of the month.  We'll update further once we get closer, of course. 

New Dice & Reload Packs

As you're aware, we've had some delays in getting our brand new logo dice.  We continue to inch closer to having them in hand at long last, however, and expect these to arrive close to the end of this month, at which point we'll be able to fulfill all of the orders from which they're currently missing.

Unfortunately, we're also having a bit of trouble getting sufficient quantities of lead for Reload Packs.  We're working to source everything we need, but this will likely take around a month.

While we regret these difficulties, know that we're not holding up orders because of them; if the bulk of your order is available, we're shipping it, and will follow up with your dice and Reload Pack in a separate shipment, once they arrive.  Please note that even though this will result in multiple shipments, you are not responsible for extra shipping charges!

Nonetheless, if you do receive an order and it does not contain these items, please don't panic - we are aware of it, and we didn't forget to include them, we just assume that you would prefer to get the main items of your pledge as soon as possible, and are accordingly not delaying on account of the minor accessories unless instructed otherwise.

We're launching a weekly vlog that chronicles behind-the-scenes developments at Wyrmwood, and our continuing mission to provide the highest quality artisan craftsmanship for the tabletop gaming community. A slice-of-life view of all things Wyrmwood we call: WYRM LYFE.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

We love Halloween, and we think there's a good chance you do, too.  We knew we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion this year, and here it is: a limited edition series, in tribute to legendary horror visionary H.P. Lovecraft, offered exclusively through a short campaign right here on Kickstarter!

We're planning to launch Monday, and are poised to deliver rewards extremely quickly - with 1300 pledges available to be shipped in time for Christmas.

As always, it's important to note that we are not diverting production resources from fulfillment of our existing campaigns to work on this project; should it meet its funding goals, it will be run separately so as not to cause any delays on existing projects or website orders.

We just honestly love the concept and the pieces that have come out of it, and want to share it with the widest audience possible.

An Overdue Update

Hello backers,

Terribly sorry about the delay on this update and the radio silence, we have had a lot going on! That being said, lets hop right in.

Fulfillment Status

August pledges are nearly finished shipping, there are still a handful of pledges that need to be sent out, however they can expect shipping notifications by the end of next week at the absolute latest. 

September is nearing completion as far as the build goes - we are currently only 4 runs of Personal Trays and Master Vaults, and 2 runs of Pencils off of finishing the build for September. Backers in this tier should be receiving shipping notifications over the course of the next couple of weeks, and our current estimation is we should have September tier fully shipped out by October 5th.

After that, it should be smooth sailing for the remaining fulfillment tiers. Apologies for the rocky start here, we look forward to getting it back on track and getting pledges shipped out ASAP! 

Further Issues With Old Logo Dice

We unfortunately have run into another issue with Chessex as we're fulfilling. They are unable to get us any additional Scarlet Red logo dice, and will not have these back in stock until the beginning of next year at the earliest. Due to this, we are going to replace the Red in all remaining Chessex logo dice with an additional White logo die. 

Update on New Logo Dice

As far as the new logo dice go - these should be finished very soon! The dice are on their final steps, unfortunately the manufacturer was been dealing with monsoons which has delayed the process a touch. They have informed us they are their top priority once it passes. 

English Yew Woes

Last, but certainly not least - we are unfortunately completely unable to source English Yew anymore. All of our distributors just flat out cannot source any. Backers who specifically picked English Yew will be receiving an email with the options available, we will be offering either a wood upgrade or full refund on pledge amounts due to this - we are incredibly sorry for this inconvenience! All instances of Roll the Dice English Yew have been converted to other random woods in that price range as well.
